Car Wash To Become Chase Bank By Logan Square

A new bank is coming to the area.

The plans for the bank.

A car wash in Solebury Township will be demolished and replaced with a Chase Bank branch.

The Solebury Township Board of Supervisors on Tuesday evening approved developer Bruce Goodman’s plan to transform the Four Season Car Wash and Lube Center into a 3,425-square-foot bank branch with a drive-thru ATM.

The site is located outside the Logan Square shopping center along Lower York Road.

Goodman said the Chase Bank will feature stone, metal and a wood-like composite to comply with township ordinances and blend with the surrounding area.

The project will include the construction of a trail connecting the property to a future park at the former New Hope Flea Market.

Julie Von Spreckelsen, the project’s attorney, said the bank will maintain its existing driveway and will not connect directly to Lower York Road.

The Solebury Township Zoning Hearing Board previously granted several variances for the project. The Solebury Township Planning Commission had recommended approval.

Supervisors voted to approve conditional use for a drive-up ATM and for the distance to the nearby Aquetong Creek. They also approved land development for the bank.

In 2018, JPMorgan Chase, the owner of Chase Bank, announced it planned to add 50 new branches and hire 300 new employees in the Philadelphia region. It would add to the company’s more than 5,000 branches.
