Two Hospitalized After Crash Along Phillips Mill Road

The crash led to two people being taken to the hospital.

Firefighters rescued a driver from a vehicle after a single-vehicle crash Monday morning in Solebury Township.

Crews from the New Hope Eagle Fire Company and the City of Lambertville Fire Department responded to Phillips Mill Road where a pickup truck left the roadway and struck a utility pole and a retaining wall, the New Hope Eagle Fire Company posted on social media.

Firefighters used hydraulic rescue tools to extricate the driver, the fire company said.

Two patients were transported to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township.

The Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad and Central Bucks Emergency Medical Services provided the transport for the patients.

The Solebury Township Police Department was investigating the crash.

The New Hope Borough Police Department assisted with traffic control at the scene.
