New Hope Borough residents are invited to a workshop this week to discuss the municipality’s new comprehensive plan.
The borough is updating its comprehensive plan, which was last revised in 2011.
A comprehensive plan is an official document that guides land use decision-making.
The Bucks County Planning Commission, which is assisting the borough and its planning commission, describes the under-development document as “a statement of the community’s vision for the future to be used by residents.”
The resident workshop will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, in the Community Room at 125 New Street at borough hall.
Recently, residents received a postcard asking them to complete a survey about the plan. The survey remains open for responses.
Residents and stakeholders can keep up to date on the comprehensive plan’s website.
Following the series of public workshops, the borough will review a draft comprehensive plan, hold an open house to gather feedback, and then submit it to the borough council for review and adoption.
