City of Lambertville residents living on metered streets can renew their residential parking permits online for 2025, the city announced.

The annual permit is priced at $156 for 2025 and exempts registered vehicles from feeding parking meters on the resident’s street.

To be eligible for the permit, applicants must be licensed drivers with a primary residence on a metered street and have no access to off-street parking. Each household is limited to the number of permits equivalent to the licensed drivers residing there, according to the city.

The permits, which are valid through Dec. 31, 2025, allow parking at meters without payment but do not provide immunity from No Parking zones or Street Sweeper restrictions.

Residents looking to apply need to provide a valid vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and a lease, deed, or current utility bill verifying residency and the lack of off-street parking.

Once the application is submitted and reviewed, approved residents will be prompted via email to make the payment. Upon receipt of payment, the city will mail the parking permit sticker, which should be placed on the outside of the rear windshield on the passenger side bottom corner.

Applications are available on the City of Lambertville’s website.
