Police Log: Road-Rage Dispute, Intoxicated Uber Passengers & More

The latest incidents in the City of Lambertville.

November 17

Assault

At approximately 8:19 p.m., a 47-year-old Trenton man was arrested and charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct. He was scheduled to appear in court on December 5. Detective Albani is the arresting officer.

November 19

Trespassing

At approximately 8:22 p.m., a 47-year-old City of Lambertville man was charged with defiant trespassing. He is scheduled for court on January 16, 2025. Patrolman Brown is the investigating officer.

Trespassing

At approximately 7:04 p.m., a 47-year-old City of Lambertville man was arrested and charged with defiant trespassing. He is scheduled for court on January 16, 2025. Patrolman Brown is the arresting officer.  

November 21

Fraud

At approximately 1:29 p.m., a resident from York Street reported check fraud. Patrolman Zilliox is investigating. 

November 23

Road-Rage Incident

At approximately 4:52 p.m., patrols responded to the area of Coryell Street and North Franklin Street for a report of a possible assault. After investigating, it was determined there was a road rage incident between two vehicles where the drivers eventually came to a stop and engaged in a dispute. The incident had de-escalated prior to patrols arrival. Detective Albani investigated. 

Disorderly Conduct

At approximately 11:30 p.m., patrols responded to the area of Route 29 near police headquarters for a report of disorderly passengers in an Uber. It was determined the passengers were intoxicated and acting in manner that the driver was not comfortable with and cancelled the ride requesting they exit the vehicle. Both passengers were provided a courtesy transport. Patrolman Pradarits investigated. 

December 3

Fraud

At approximately 10:50 a.m., a resident from Perry Street reported receiving fraudulent charges on their credit card from packages they did not purchase. Patrolman Pradarits is the investigating officer. 

December 4

Forgery

A 34-year-old Whitehouse Station man was charged with forgery and theft of movable property stemming from an incident on May 9. The man has a court date of January 8, 2025 at the Hunterdon County Superior Court. Detective Albani is the investigating officer.  

December 5

Fugitive From Justice

At approximately 4:37 p.m., a 33-year-old Hopewell resident was arrested for being a fugitive from justice as a result of a motor vehicle stop. They was turned over to the Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Department in default after being charged as a fugitive. Patrolman Zilliox is the arresting officer. 

December 6

Fraud

At approximately 3 p.m., a resident on North Main Street reported fraud and impersonation of a public servant.  Detective Corporal Bast is investigating. 

December 7

Theft From Vehicle

At approximately 7:10 p.m., a resident from Brunswick Pike in West Amwell Township reported having their wallet stolen from inside of their vehicle while parked in Lambertville. Patrolman Lugo investigated. 

December 10

Possible Scam

At approximately 10:03 a.m., a resident from Coryell Street reported receiving a suspicious email that may be a scam. Patrolman Pradarits is investigating. 

December 14

Criminal Mischief

At approximately 10:33 a.m., a resident from Heath Court reported criminal mischief to outside community lights, a hand rail and a posted private property sign. Detective Albani is investigated.

Unwanted Person

At approximately 3:35 p.m., patrols responded to Elm Street for a report of an unwanted person on private property. The subject was located and the situation was resolved without incident. Patrolman Pradarits investigated.

December 15

Crash

At approximately 4:34 p.m., patrols responded to Cherry Street for a report of a vehicle that struck a building. Patrolman Pradarits investigated.
