The 76-year-old woman who died of suspected carbon monoxide poisoning inside a Solebury Township home has been identified as an actress and model.
Dayle Haddon, of New York City, died from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning incident, Bucks County Coroner Patti Campi confirmed.
The incident occurred early Friday morning when emergency responders were called to a home in the 6900 block of Phillips Mill Road following a report of an unconscious man. The call was received by Bucks County 9-1-1 around 6:31 a.m., according to police.
Responding to the scene, the Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad found a 76-year-old man on the first floor of a detached office and in-law suite on the property. He was subsequently transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey for treatment.
Haddon was discovered deceased in a second-floor bedroom within the same building, police said.
The New Hope Eagle Volunteer Fire Company detected dangerously high levels of carbon monoxide in the building, police said.
Two medics who attended the scene were hospitalized due to carbon monoxide exposure and are currently receiving care at Doylestown Hospital. Additionally, a Solebury Township police officer was treated at the scene for similar exposure symptoms.
The 76-year-old man in the hospital was not identified, but sources said he is a family member.
Haddon, renowned for her endorsements of anti-aging products by L’Oréal and her appearances on the covers of major fashion and beauty magazines, including the 1973 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, had a career spanning several decades. In addition to her modeling, she starred in films “The World’s Greatest Athlete,” “Flash Gordon,” “Madame Claude,” and “North Dallas Forty” in the 1970s and contributed to CBS News in the mid-2000s.
She is survived by her daughter, journalist Ryan Haddon, and her son-in-law, actor Marc Blucas, who owns the farm property where the incident took place. Blucas is an in-demand actor and was a college basketball star. He was in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “First Daughter,” “Deadline,” “The Jane Austen Book Club,” and a number of holiday films.

A suspected carbon monoxide leak in Solebury Township Friday morning has left one woman dead and several others, including emergency responders, requiring hospitalization.
The incident was first reported at approximately 6:31 a.m. on Friday when Bucks County 9-1-1 received a call from a resident about a man found unconscious inside a detached office and in-law suite in the 6900 block of Phillips Mill Road, police said.
The Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance & Rescue Squad responded and arrived on the scene to find a 76-year-old man incapacitated on the first floor, police said.
The man was removed from the property and transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey for care, police said.
A 76-year-old woman was discovered deceased in a second-floor bedroom of the same building, police said.

The air quality conditions resulted in the hospitalization of two medics, who were taken to Doylestown Hospital.
Police said the medics suffered from carbon monoxide exposure while attending to the victims. Additionally, a Solebury Township police officer received on-site treatment for exposure, police said.
The cause of the carbon monoxide leak is currently under investigation by the Solebury Township Police Department.
