Solebury Police Investigate Attempted Vehicle Theft On Thanksgiving

Solebury Township police are investigating an attempted vehicle theft that occurred early Thanksgiving morning.

According to the Solebury Township Police Department, a suspect attempted to enter and possibly steal one or two vehicles parked in a residential driveway in the 6500 block of Upper York Road (Route 263).

The suspect was unsuccessful in his attempt to steal the vehicles due to both being locked and the activation of motion-sensitive lights and cameras.

The suspect was described by police as a mid-20-year-old man.

The Solebury Township Police Department asked anyone who can identify the individual depicted in surveillance photos to contact them at 215-328-8511 or submit a tip through their CrimeWatch site.

The department reminds residents to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to secure their property.
