A woman being held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility faces multiple charges after contraband was removed from her body at a hospital, according to Bucks County investigators.

Rihanna Galione, 37, of Langhorne, was initially jailed on Sept. 17 on charges related to retail theft and conspiracy stemming from an alleged incident in Bensalem Township. She also was brought in on a warrant for violating probation or parole, court documents stated.

At the correctional facility in Doylestown Township, the 37-year-old woman underwent an entry search and reportedly attempted to hide an object between her legs, the Bucks County Detectives and prison investigators said in an affidavit.

When pressed by an officer, she allegedly dropped what appeared to be a white square-shaped paper into the toilet and flushed it. Further search attempts at that time yielded no additional findings, authorities said.

Detectives placed Galione under a contraband watch at the correctional facility, authorities said.

In the early hours of the following day, officers found blue wax papers near trash on the floor of her cell. A subsequent cell search led to more papers being found, according to investigators.

On the afternoon of Sept. 18, Galione had a medical incident and was taken to Doylestown Hospital for treatment, authorities said.

Investigators stated that hospital staffed removed several items from her body, including a baggie containing suspected fentanyl-laced pinkish paper, additional blue wax papers with suspected fentanyl, and a small bag of suspected cocaine, authorities said.

Galione was charged earlier this month with contraband/controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance on an inmate, possession of a controlled substance, and use/possession of drug paraphernalia. She waived her right to a preliminary hearing last week and is being held in the county jail unable to post bail as she awaits trial. For the Bensalem Township retail theft case, Galione waived the case forward to the Court of Common Pleas.
