Peddler’s Village will kick off its holiday season festivities on Friday, Nov. 15, with the Grand Illumination Celebration.
The popular evening event will welcome Santa and Mrs. Claus to light up one million colorful holiday lights.
The celebration, which now in its 24th year, will start at 4:30 p.m., with the official lighting ceremony at 6:15 p.m. It will feature carolers and special musical guests Martin & Kelly.
Holiday festivities will take place throughout the entire weekend at Peddler’s Village.
The weekend also marks the start of the annual Gingerbread Competition and Display that will showcase more than 100 gingerbread houses across various categories. The beloved tradition dates back to 1984 and will be open for viewing at the Visitor & Event Center during shopping hours until January 19, 2025.
Police from Buckingham and Solebury townships will manage traffic, but attendees are advised to expect delays and intermittent road closures along York Road (Route 202), Route 263, and Street Road from 3:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday.
Throughout the holiday season, Peddler’s Village will host a variety of events, including Photos with Santa, Breakfast with Santa, and the Enchanted Evenings series.
The village will also participate in a toy drive in collaboration with the Salvation Army through December 8 and accept donations of new, unwrapped toys and winter clothing items.
Peddler’s Village remains a free admission destination with ample parking.
