Barn Fire Brings Crews From Around Area

A large barn fire happened in Solebury.

Fire companies from around the area battled a large barn fire in Solebury Township Sunday afternoon.

The Midway Fire Company and a number of other companies from Bucks County and New Jersey responded to the 6200 block of Greenhill Road around 1 p.m. the blaze.

Smoke billowed into the air from the fire well into the afternoon.

Police said Greenhill Road was closed between Upper York Road (Route 263) and Mechanicsville Road, Upper York Road was closed between Street and Aquetong roads, and Street Road was closed between York Road and Upper York Road.
