Two Road Closures Planned By PennDOT In Solebury

Two road closures are planned for this week.

PennDOT will be undertaking pipe replacement work on two roads in Solebury Township this week.

On Tuesday, September 24, Thursday, September 26, and Friday, September 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Aquetong Road will be closed between Carversville Road and Greenhill Road in Solebury Township.

During the closure, drivers will be detoured to use Carversville Road, Durham Road (Route 413), York Road/Upper York Road (Route 263), and Greenhill Road.

On Wednesday, September 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mechanicsville Road will be closed between Aquetong Road and Greenhill Road in Solebury Township.

Drivers will be detoured onto Aquetong Road and Greenhill Road.

Both closures are for pipe replacement projects.

For both closures, local access will be provided, according to PennDOT.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling in the work areas.

The pipe replacement work is dependent on good weather, PennDOT said.
