Solebury Cops Seek Tips After Mail Thefts

Police in Solebury Township and neighboring areas are investigating a series of thefts from residential mailboxes.

On Friday, Solebury Township police said they have identified a vehicle believed to be linked the crimes.

The ongoing investigation has pinpointed a black 2018 to 2022 Mercedes-Benz C300 4MATIC as a vehicle of interest. The car, which has dark-tinted windows on all sides, has been spotted in several Central Bucks County townships and across Montgomery, Delaware, and Chester counties within the last two weeks, police said.

According to police, they have identified multiple Pennsylvania registrations for the suspected vehicle, including current tags MNW5789, and previously LKR2270 and MLG9857.

Investigators said mail thefts have been reported throughout the area in recent weeks.

Anyone with information on the thefts, the vehicle, an the various plates has been asked to contact Solebury Township police via their CrimeWatch site or at 215-328-8511.
