The Hunterdon County 4-H and Agricultural Fair has kicked off at the Hunterdon County Fairgrounds.

Taking place at 1207 Route 179 South County Park, which is just outside Lambertville, the fair began on Wednesday and runs through Sunday.

The organizers promise a full schedule packed with attractions. Visitors can enjoy magic shows, live music, art exhibitions, and a variety of animal displays. The fair also features baking competitions, thrilling amusement rides, and a spectacular fireworks display scheduled for Friday at dusk.

Admission to the fairgrounds is free, with parking available at $15 per car. Ride tickets are sold separately.

This year’s fair continues the tradition of the Hunterdon County 4-H and Agricultural Fair, which began after the closure of the Flemington Fair in 1999. The Flemington Fair had been a cornerstone of local agricultural and 4-H activities since 1848.
