Lambertville Seeks Volunteer Park Stewards

The City of Lambertville is seeking residents as the city looks to enhance the maintenance and safety of its parks and open spaces.

According to the city’s Parks and Recreation Commission, volunteers are sought to oversee the operations and upkeep of seven parks.

Volunteers serving as park stewards will be responsible for various tasks, including monitoring the spaces, managing invasive plants, weeding, assisting with new plantings, cleaning up trash, and maintaining nature trails.

The city is offering to train the park stewards.

City officials asked interesting residents to email their name, email address, and days they are able to volunteer to recreation@lambertvillenj.org. Residents can also put it there is a particular park and type of work they wish to do.
