Six seniors from New Hope-Solebury School District’s Class of 2024 have been awarded scholarships.

The financial awards total $32,500 and were given by New Hope Helping, a community service organization.

The scholarships, which are thanks to local fundraising events, will assist the students in their upcoming post-secondary educational endeavors.

Madie Thistlewaite received the top scholarship of $7,500 from the Steve Buck and Hardy Bush Scholarship Fund.

Five other students, Isabella Genuardi, Hannah Mandel, Mia Patino, Jack Pellegrino-Paul, and Brooks Aaron Saft, each received $5,000 through the New Hope Helping Scholarship program.

These awards were made possible by the generous contributions of participants and attendees at the 2023 Steve Buck/Hardy Bush Memorial Golf Tournament and The New Hope Automobile Show.

New Hope Helping has announced a full slate of activities for 2024, including multiple events tied to the New Hope Automobile Show, such as a Road Rally on July 28 and a Summer Cars and Coffee event on August 4. The traditional New Hope Automobile Show is set for August 10 and August 11. Additionally, a USTA-sponsored Youth Tennis Tournament will take place over two weekends in July and August.

The New Hope Concert Series will also return this fall with performances scheduled for September 21, September 28, and October 5 at the Bucks County Playhouse.
