Solebury Township police have highlighted speed enforcement measures in the area.
The police department emphasized that speeding enforcement aims to reduce accidents and ensure everyone’s safety on the roads.
“Our goal is to ensure the safety of all road users,” the department said
They asked drivers to:
– Obey posted speed limits
– Slow down in school zones, construction areas, and neighborhoods
– Be aware of changing speed limits and road conditions
The police department added: “Let’s work together to prevent accidents and keep our roads safe! Remember, speed limits are in place for your safety and the safety of others. Let’s all do our part to drive responsibly.”
According to PennDOT data, out of 115,938 vehicular crashes in Pennsylvania in 2022, 26,844 were related to speeding, leading to 404 fatalities.
