Emergency personnel from the City of Lambertville were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision in West Amwell Township last Friday.
The crash happened at the intersection of Route 179 and Mt. Airy Village Road, according to officials from the City of Lambertville.
Upon arrival, crews confirmed that there was no entrapment, but there were several patients, according to the West Amwell Township Fire Company.
The City of Lambertville Fire Department assisted with managing vehicle fluids, while West Amwell Township crews handled other vehicle hazards, the fire company said.
Several people involved were assessed at the scene and subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad dispatched three ambulances, and the Hunterdon Medical Center sent a paramedic crew to aid in the response.
Authorities reported that it took approximately one hour to clear the incident area.
