The City of Lambertville Parks and Recreation Commission is gearing up for a community spring cleaning event this Saturday at Ely Field.
The event looks to spruce up one of the city’s green spaces as warmer weather approaches.
The commission will host the clean up at Ely Field starting at 9 a.m. at the pavilion.
Organizers recommend that volunteers wear boots and bring gloves to ensure their comfort and safety during the cleanup.
The city will supply trash bags and have additional gloves available for those who need them.
Participation in the event requires a quick sign-up, accessible through an online form at https://forms.gle/VbmASRUFYuWaEbhQ9.
Located at the base of Music Mountain and stretching from Jefferson Street to the Lambertville Public School, Ely Field is the largest park in the city. It was provided as a gift from the Closson Family.
