The City of Lambertville this week started its street sweeping program for the year.
In a social media post, city officials have urged residents and visitors to pay close attention to parking signs and sweeping schedules to avoid fines.
The street sweeper will be active from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Mondays through Fridays in the downtown area.
To assist vehicle owners, a detailed list of streets along with their respective cleaning times has been made available on the city’s website.
The city advises motorists not to return their vehicles back to targeted areas until the street sweeper has completed its second pass.
Those who fail to move their vehicles during the scheduled times risk receiving a ticket.
Operating in the spring, summer, and fall, the sweepers navigate the streets during various weather conditions, including sun, clouds, light rain, or fog, but not clean the streets during heavy rainfalls.
