Pennsylvania State Police will be looking out for intoxicated drivers in the central and upper sections of Bucks County this weekend.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, a DUI checkpoint will take place at an undisclosed location in the area between Friday and Sunday.
Troopers from the Dublin barracks will man the sobriety checkpoint.
At the checkpoint, law enforcement will stop vehicles briefly to observe drivers for behaviors normally associated with drug or alcohol impairment, a statement said.
“The Pennsylvania State Police is committed to maintaining a safe environment for the motoring public. This sobriety checkpoint is intended to achieve this goal,” troopers said in a statement.
The location of state police checkpoints are almost never released to media or area residents ahead of time.
