Residents of the City of Lambertville and nearby areas will have the opportunity to access services from the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) Mobile Unit next week
The unit will be in the city from Tuesday, January 16, through Saturday, January 20.
The initiative brings essential New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission services closer to the community, saving residents a trip to the Flemington office.
The mobile unit will be stationed at the Justice Center in Lambertville.
With the deadline for REAL ID compliance approaching, residents are encouraged to use the opportunity to upgrade their licenses. It’s important to note that obtaining a REAL ID requires certain documentation, so interested individuals should come prepared with the necessary papers, city officials said,
In addition to REAL ID services, the mobile unit will also handle registration renewals. However, both these services require prior appointments and slots are limited.
The mobile unit will offer walk-up services for handicapped placards and license plate returns.
