In celebration of its 20th anniversary, the Bucks County Bar Foundation announced its plans to honor exceptional community members who have shown outstanding commitment to volunteerism and service.
The foundation will present three prestigious awards at its upcoming gala.
Jefferey Liebmann, Esq., president of the Bucks County Bar Foundation, expressed excitement about the event.
“We will present these awards at our 20th Anniversary Gala being held on April 18, 2024, at The Buck Hotel, as an acknowledgement of the sacrifice and appreciation of their time, devotion and dedication for those that often go unrecognized,” said Liebmann.
The gala will feature the presentation of the following awards:
- Service Award: This award acknowledges a public member who has significantly contributed to their community through altruistic service to various organizations, including charitable, religious, civic, governmental, and educational bodies. The recipient is someone who serves without expectation of financial or material gain.
- Veterans Award: Dedicated to a member of the public, this award honors an individual who has demonstrated philanthropic support and selfless service to military service members and their families.
- Justice Award: This award recognizes a person, entity, or organization that has advanced social justice ideals in the broader community. The recipient will have promoted respect for the law and fostered adherence to the rule of law.
The foundation seeks nominations from the community.
