Motorists using Aquetong Road in Solebury Township should brace for a dayslong disruption starting this Wednesday.
The road will be closed between Carversville Road and Greenhill Road on weekdays from Wednesday, October 25, through Tuesday, October 31 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., according to township police.
The closure is for scheduled work in the area.
To go around the closure, motorists are being directed to a detour route that includes Greenhill Road, Upper York Road (Route 263), York Road (Route 202), Durham Road (Route 413), and Carversville Road.
Local access will remain open up to the work zone.
Those traveling in and around the work zone are advised to allocate extra travel time.
The work is contingent on the weather.
