The Hunterdon County 4-H and Agricultural Fair is set to dazzle residents this week.
The fair from Wednesday, August 23 to Sunday, August 27 at the Hunterdon County Fairgrounds at 1207 Route 179 South County Park just outside of Lambertville.
Each day of the fair is packed with a variety of events tailored for all ages. Visitors can expect to be mesmerized by magic shows, tapped to the beat of live music acts, and awed by animal displays. Additionally, the fair will showcase art exhibitions, baking competitions, thrilling rides, and not to forget, a spectacular fireworks display on Friday night.
Entry to the fair is free, but parking is $15 per car and the rides cost money.
The Hunterdon County 4-H and Agricultural Fair was born out of a need to continue the long-standing tradition of a county fair in Hunterdon County following the closure of the Flemington Fair in 1999. The Flemington Fair, a beloved local venue, had been the epicenter of agricultural and 4-H exhibits in the area since its inception in 1848.
