A Central Bucks School District administrator from the City of Lambertville was arrested and charged with following an alleged domestic disturbance on Thursday night, according to authorities.
The 53-year-old principal was taken into custody after the reported domestic situation occurred around 9:20 PM on Mary Street in Doylestown Borough.
According to the Central Bucks Regional Police Department, the 53-year-old man approached the residence and engaged in a conversation with the occupant outside. However, after the occupant returned inside the house, 53-year-old man allegedly entered without permission and began searching different rooms as if looking for someone.
Despite being asked to leave multiple times by the resident, the 53-year-old man remained in the house, police said.
Additionally, he reportedly sent the occupant numerous harassing text messages during the incident, police said.
The 53-year-old man has been serving as the principal of Tohickon Middle School in Plumstead Township since 2014.
Following his arrest, the 53-year-old man was preliminarily arraigned before a district judge on charges of criminal trespassing and harassment. He was released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
