After a hiatus of several years, the tranquil Delaware River will once again serve as the picturesque backdrop for a captivating fireworks show.
The mesmerizing fireworks display, set to launch between the scenic towns of New Hope Borough and the City of Lambertville is presented by the Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce and New Hope Celebrates.
The fireworks display was approved by borough council earlier this month and did receive some pushback by residents concerned about noise and environmental impacts, according to previous reporting by New Hope Free Press reporter David Hunt.
The first fireworks show is set for Saturday, July 1 at 9:35 p.m. The rain date is Friday, July 7.
Other shows are scheduled for Friday, August 4 and Friday, September 1. The fireworks on those days will commence at approximately 9:10 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, explore the towns, and enjoy themselves before the fireworks show.
Attendees are asked to utilize the available parking facilities at New Hope-Solebury High School, Union Square, or the Lambertville Station.
Others locations that offer parking may require a nominal fee. The fees are determined by the individual parking facilities.
