The force is strong in New Hope Borough as stormtroopers will take over the town on Thursday.
The Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce has invited all Star Wars fans to join the festivities and celebrate May the Fourth, a special day for fans of the iconic franchise.
Entertainment by the Garrison Carida, a chapter of the 501st Legion of fans, starts at 6 p.m. and attendees can expect to see stormtroopers and Princess Leia on the streets of New Hope in the area of Mechanic Street and Main Street.
The highlight of the event will be a screening of “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope” at The Logan Inn at 7:30 p.m.
The movie screening is open to the public, and no ticket purchase is required.
The Logan Inn will be featuring their Tatooine Moon Cocktail, and Market Pizza will be serving up a special Star Wars-themed pizza all day long.
