Lambertville House Tour goes virtual this month

The Lambertville House Tour, a popular tradition for old house fans and Lambertville lovers, will be a virtual event in its 38th year.

Through a 90-minute webinar, viewers will experience Lambertville design, renovation, architecture, and history. Taking place Oct. 24 and 25, the event is a fundraiser for the Lambertville Historical Society.

There will be nine video tours of historic properties featuring elegant interior footage and stunning aerial cinematography. From basement to attic and garden to pasture, viewers will see Lambertville’s earliest dwellings, beloved landmarks, and restored residences inside and out.

The video tours were produced by documentarian Gary P. Cohen and make use of local talent: Aerial cinematography by Federico Ferreri; music by Carol Heffler, Dan Kassel, J.B. Kline, Pyrenesia, Stephen DiJoseph, and The Back Porch Jugband; and narration by Amy Raditz and Bob Richter.

The second component of the webinar will be four expert presentations and a live Q&A. Interior designer, author and TV personality Bob Richter will present “Vintage Living in Lambertville” with views of local homes. Architects Michael Burns, Lisa Easton and Gary O’Connor will present examples of historic restoration in residential and commercial properties, and discuss styles seen in Lambertville.

The webinar will take place on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and on Sunday, Oct. 25, from 11  a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
