An exhibition featuring the work of renowned regional artists Malcolm Bray and Harry Georgesen opened this weekend at New Hope Arts.
Dubbed “The Owl and The Nightingale, the month-long show features Bray’s recent paintings, each of which represents a new chapter as he plunges into interpenetration and ambiguity, taking viewers on a journey to explore relationships between light and its absence.
Sculptor Georgesen looks back into all of the great periods of Western art. From these reflections, he creates subjects which examine the human condition, say exhibition organizers.
The show continues through March 28, with a closing reception from 6 to 9 p.m., featuring music by Andrew Wilkinson.
Information and gallery hours can be found online.
New Hope Arts is located at 2 Stockton Ave. in New Hope.
