Fleecy Dale Road between Route 32 (River Road) and Aquetong Road in Solebury Township will be closed beginning Wednesday, March 11, for gas main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Thursday.
The closure will be in place 24/7 through Wednesday, March 25, weather permitting.
During that time, Fleecy Dale Road motorists will be directed to use Route 32 (River Road), Greenhill Road, Mechanicsville Road and Aquetong Road.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area because backups and delays will occur.
Texas Eastern Transmission, LP is performing the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
