Buckingham Friends School invites local families to celebrate the warmth of winter with friends and family at its Annual Snowflake Festival on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
For one magical day, the school’s 44-acre wooded campus is transformed into a family-friendly winter wonderland filled with indoor and outdoor activities, including creative crafts, a kids-only Secret Shop, the Pocket Gnome, and a woodland walk to visit the Snow Queen for cookies and hot cocoa. Families can purchase a card of snowflake tickets for admissions to these activities.
There is also a bake sale starting at 10a.m., and delicious warm lunch items will be available for purchase starting at 11 a.m.
The child-centric event also features a number of free activities, including a tea room for stories and quiet time, and performances by students and other local artists.
Visit Buckingham Friends School online to learn more and purchase tickets.
