Glenn E. Kennedy, 66, of New Hope, passed away at 12:47 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, at his home.
Glenn was born Dec. 16, 1952, in York, and was the son of the late David and Florence (Hershner) Kennedy.
He graduated in 1970 from Northeastern High School in Manchester. Glenn was employed as a bartender at the Cub Room at New Hope Lodge.
Glenn is survived by his brothers, James and his wife Joan of Manchester, Kenneth, Sr., and his wife Susan of Manchester, Robert and his wife Doris of Dover and Burnell and his wife Jeannie of Montana, and his extended family and friends from New Hope. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Kay Harlacher and Faye Evans.
A visitation was held on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at the Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 S. Main St., in Mount Wolf.

Sorry to see you gone Glen. Always loved a good time, good laughs and a great joke teller St the numerous bars you worked at in New Hope. You were a bright light in this town and now you are in heaven. God bless.
