Lane restrictions are scheduled on Aquetong Road between Old Windy Bush and Solebury Mountain roads in Solebury Township from Monday, July 22, through Friday, July 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
The restrictions will allow Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) workers to mill the existing roadway surface and repave it with new asphalt.
“The new pavement will seal the roadway and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface,” PennDOT said.
They advise motorists to allow extra time traveling through the work area because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Motorists will encounter lane restrictions on several state highways across the Philadelphia region as part of an effort to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of state highway in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties, PennDOT said.
In our area, lane restrictions are also scheduled on Swamp Road between Dark Hollow Road and Route 263 (Old York Road) in Buckingham Township from Monday, July 22, through Friday, July 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
