Priscilla Helen Parsons, 59, of Lambertville, died on Saturday, June 15, at her home.
Known to all as “Patty,” she was born in Doylestown, and was a lifelong Lambertville resident. She worked on the custodial staff of the South Hunterdon Regional School District and for the individual schools in the district for a total of 19 years. Previously, Patty was employed at York Luggage and the Yellow Brick Toad Restaurant.
Dedicated to community and emergency services, Patty was an active member of the Columbia Fire Company of the Lambertville Fire Department. She also continued a family tradition of membership in the Union Fire Company’s Ladies’ Auxiliary, where she had served as president. She played softball with the American Legion’s Women’s League. Patty loved elephants and collected elephant figurines. She was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Patty was devoted to her family. She was the proud mother to her sons Gregory R. Siwy of Lambertville and his fiancé Elizabeth Matthews and Steven R. Siwy of New Hope and his fiancé Courtney Eavenson. She was the daughter of the late George H. Parsons, Jr. and Beatrice I. Yeisley Parsons and the aunt of the late Robert W. Parsons, Jr. Patty is also survived by her sisters and their husbands Beverly and George Fresco of Lambertville, Linda L. and Joseph Wright of West Amwell, and Kathy Parsons of Barnegat, N.J.; her brother and his wife Robert W. “Butch” and Barbara Parsons of Lambertville; and her many nieces and nephews and their families.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 20, at 11 a.m. at the Old Rocks Church, 260 Mt. Airy-Harbourton Road, in Lambertville.
There will be visitation at the church on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
