Mother, daughter accused of killing 5 family members in Morrisville

A mother and daughter are in custody in connection with the murders of five people in Morrisville.

Shana S. Decree, 45, and Dominique Decree, 19, will each be charged with five counts of homicide and one count each of conspiracy, accused of killing their relatives in unit S-7 of Robert Morris Apartments, located at 200 West Bridge St. in Morrisville.

Deceased are Shana Decree’s children, Naa’Irah Smith, 25, and Damon Decree Jr., 13, both of Morrisville, as well as Shana Decree’s sister Jamilla Campbell, 42, of Trenton, New Jersey, and Campbell’s 9-year-old twin daughters, Imani and Erika Allen.

Apartment building in Morrisville where murders allegedly took place

The bodies were found just after 4 p.m. Monday inside a bedroom of the first-floor apartment. The causes of death remain under investigation by Morrisville Borough Police and Bucks County Detectives.

The case will be assigned for prosecution to Deputy District Attorney Christopher W. Rees.

Defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law or such rights are waived.
