Firefighters respond to report of fumes on New Street in New Hope

Firefighters with New Hope Eagle Volunteer Fire Company and City of Lambertville Fire Department responded to a report of natural gas fumes at 108 New St. on Monday.

The alarm at 1:41 p.m. also drew a response from Central Bucks EMS and New Hope Police Department.

The resident at the address was not at home at the time, but her two dogs were quickly located and secured.

Responders appeared to have the situation well in hand at 2 p.m.
