New Hope police are looking into a burglary that took place on Saturday, Dec. 8.
A residence on Summer Lea Court in the Riverwoods section of New Hope was broken into sometime between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m., they say. Entry was gained by throwing a rock through a rear slider door.
Men’s watches and women’s jewelry were taken during the burglary, and unfortunately the house was ransacked during the incident, according to the New Hope Borough Police Department.
Solebury Township police are also investigating a recent residential burglary. A home near the 5900 block of Route 202 between Upper Mountain and Street took place between Dec. 9 and 13 they said, and entry to the residence was forced through a rear door.
