Christmas can’t be far away because another Holiday Art and Crafts Sale at John & Peter’s is upon us, and it’s a great opportunity to pick up some unusual, affordable gifts for the loved ones on your holiday list, and to support local independent artists in the New Hope/Lambertville area.
It’s also a great excuse to spend some quality time with your favorite libation in the warm, cozy atmosphere of John & Peter’s, one of America’s oldest music clubs.
Many of the area’s most popular artists will be selling their work, along with a few talented newcomers. Best of all, everything is original, made by hand, and there’s a broad enough array of specialties that there’s bound to be something for everyone.
Now in its 22nd year, this year’s Holiday Art and Crafts Sale features handblown glass by Meshell Kimbel, paintings by Rye Tippet and Chris Harford, photos by Scott Reither, jewelry by Christine Ramirez, tiles by Katia McGuirk, and cookies by Carol Brook, among others selling their handiwork.
It’s all takes place one night only, Tuesday Dec. 11, from 7 to 11 p.m., at John and Peter’s, 96 S. Main St., in New Hope.
