Two popular events kick off the holiday season in New Hope on Sunday.
The annual holiday parade will proceed down West Bridge Street from New Hope-Solebury High School at 5:30 p.m., turning onto South Main Street and heading toward the southern end of town.
And New Hope’s Christmas tree event starts at 5:30 p.m. next to the Logan Inn, with Mr. and Mrs. Claus arriving around 6 p.m. Listen to your favorite choral classics, race to grab cocoa and cookies, and take in an early taste of the sights and sounds of the holiday season!
The Christmas tree is traditionally lit at around 6:30 p.m., followed by a fireworks display.
Organizers suggest bringing along an extra toy to donate to Toys for Tots.
The Logan Inn is located at 10 W. Ferry St.
Street parking is free in New Hope through Christmas Day.
