A lane closure is scheduled on South Main Street (Route 32) at the Route 232 (Windy Bush Road) intersection in New Hope on Thursday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Wednesday.
The traffic restriction is needed so workers can remove the beams supporting the Odette’s building at the corner of South Main Street and Riverwoods Drive. The historic Odette’s structure was relocated from its original site last month.
During this operation, motorists may encounter 15-minute traffic stoppages at the intersection, and are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area, says PennDOT. The schedule is weather dependent.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day.
