New Hope’s RRazz Room at the Clarion will present a diverse mix of world class artists this summer. From internationally-acclaimed vocalists Barb Jungr and John McDaniel performing the music of the Beatles to the Kinsey Sick’s outrageous, over-the-top take on comedy, there is literally something for everyone.
Here’s the July and August lineup:
- July 1 at 7:30 p.m.: “Come Together” with Barb Jungr and John McDaniel performing the Beatles’ best in an exciting new collaboration. $25 general admission/$35 limited VIP
- July 8 at 7:30 p.m.: “Simply Barbra” starring Steven Brinberg in a live musical tribute to the world’s leading songstress. $30/$40
- July 14 at 8 p.m.: Two-time Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Matt Alber is currently touring his fourth self-produced studio album “Wind Sand Stars.” $30/$45.
- July 15 at 7:30 p.m.: “An Evening With Tony Award Nominee Andrea McArdle in a new show that celebrates the Great American Songbook, Broadway and contemporary music. $40/$50
- July 21 at 8 p.m.: Kathy Babe Robinson stars in “Both Sides Now: My Piano Bar/Cabaret Life,” an eclectic mix featuring her signature blend of soulful ballads, and high energy performances. $20
- July 22 at 8 p.m.: Jackie “the joke man” Martling from the Howard Stern Show headlines. He’s a “radio personality, stand-up comedian, comedy writer, singer-songwriter, author, actor and basketweaver.” $30
- July 28 at 8 p.m.: Chely Wright’s is in the spotlight in “I Am The Rain.” She’s the hit artist who has charted more than 15 singles on country charts, including “Shut Up And Drive”, and “Single White Female.” – $35/$45
- August 5 at 7:30 p.m.: Join Karen Akers in “Vive La Chanson!” as one of cabaret’s finest singers returns to her French songbook. With Musical Director Alex Rybeck. $45
- August 12 at 8 p.m.: Donna McKechnie’s new show “Same Place: Another Time” is a musical déjà vu celebrating the scintillating 70s in New York City. $45/$55
- August 19 at 8 p.m.: Tony nominee Charles Busch returns to the RRazz Room with a brand new show including songs from Michel Legrand and Paul Williams to Stephen Sondheim and Kurt Weill. $35/$45
- August 25 at 8 p.m.: Tony Nominee of Broadway’s “Fun Home” Beth Malone headlines “So Far,” a musical memoir. $40/$50
- August 26 at 8 p.m.: The Kinsey Sicks take on the establishment in “Things We Shouldn’t Say.” Warning: If you love Donald Trump, you’ll hate this show! The Kinsey Sicks “fight back with a Dragapella® vengeance” as they offer a unique, hilarious, bold, and at times deeply disturbing experience — all in glorious four-part harmony and over-the-top drag! $45
