The Solebury Township Police Department late Thursday released the identities of those involved in last week’s fatal crash on Route 202.
Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on June 16 at 2:20 p.m. on Route 202, just south of Aquetong Road. A 2013 Toyota Camry sedan had been traveling northbound on Route 202 when it was rear-ended by a 2002 Ford F250 pick-up truck.
The Camry’s driver has been named as Jacqueline Grosso, 66, of Solebury Township. Her passenger and husband Ralph Grosso, 71, tragically lost his life from injuries sustained in the crash. Jacqueline Grosso also received “serious and critical injuries,” and both had been transported to St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne for treatment.
The operator of the Ford F250 was identified by police as Sean Karner, 36, of Solebury. He sustained minor injuries from the incident.
Solebury Police Detective/Corporal Jonathan Koretzky said his department was continuing to investigate the incident in conjunction with the Buck’s County District Attorney’s office.
“We’re asking for any witnesses who observed the crash, or the vehicles just prior to the crash, to call us at (215) 348-7400,” he said.
