Yardley Rockers ‘Run to Sandy’ Stop By John and Peter’s Feb. 19

run to sandy | new hope free pressYardley favorite sons Run To Sandy just released their latest recording, “Save The Pieces,” on Dec. 27, and the band will perform a CD-release show Feb. 19 at John and Peter’s in New Hope.

Run To Sandy, or “RTS” to fans, has been performing their original pop-rock since 2005 from Philadelphia to the Jersey Shore.

“Save The Pieces,” is the band’s third release, following the “Run To Sandy” EP in 2005 and 2010’s full-length “Icebreaker.” The latest EP was recorded last summer and fall at Forge Recording in Oreland by Ron DiSilvestro. run to sandy | new hope free press

The five original songs were written by band members Jeff Sawyer (vocals), Jonathan Millen (drums), David Palmer (bass) and Richie Lather (guitar). All three Run To Sandy releases are available at online.

Although not J&P’s usual head-banging breed of hard rock, Run to Sandy is a tight, professional act featuring original mainstream rock compositions, which makes them stand out among the typical glut of off-season cover bands.

Run to Sandy will take the stage from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19, at John and Peter’s, 96 S, Main St., in New Hope; 215-862-5981
