Case #16007448:
Juan Amaya-Hernandez, 27, of Lambertville, was arrested on Aug. 26 at 3:21 a.m. for Criminal Trespass.
On August 26, patrols were detailed to a residence on North Main Street for a report of a possible burglary in progress. Upon arrival, Sgt. Gramlich and Ptl. Bast checked the exterior of the residence and found an open window, from where a male subject was visibly asleep on the floor. The homeowner advised that the male did not have permission to be in the residence.
The male was later identified as Amaya-Hernandez. Ptl. Bast placed him under arrest at that time. Ptl. Bast charged Amaya-Hernandez with Criminal Trespass and Disorderly Conduct. Amaya-Hernandez was later released with a pending court date.
Case #16007530:
Mason T. Gagliardi, 23, of Allentown, N.J., was arrested on Aug. 28 at 12:13 a.m. for an active warrant.
While on patrol, Sgt. Gramlich observed Gagliardi’s vehicle traveling in the area of State Highway 29 and Weeden Street at a high rate of speed. Sgt. Gramlich stopped Gagliardi in the area of State Highway 29 and the Golden Nugget Flea Market. Subsequent to investigation, Gagliardi was found to have an active ATS warrant out of Pennington Borough Municipal Court in the amount of $190. He was placed under arrest and processed for the warrant. Gagliardi was able to post bail, and was later released.
Case #16007751:
Justin J. Manitta, 25, of Lambertville, was arrested on Sept. 3 at 1:02 p.m. for an active warrant.
While on patrol, Ptl. Bast observed Manitta walking in the area of South Franklin Street. Ptl. Bast was aware of an active bench warrant for Manitta issued out of Hunterdon County Superior Court for Failure to Appear. Ptl. Bast made contact with Manitta and placed him under arrest. He was later lodged in the Hunterdon County Jail.
Case #16007767:
Kabine Kaba, 61, of Corona, N.Y., was arrested on Sept. 4, at 1:31 a.m. for an active warrant.
While on patrol, Ptl. Pascoe observed Kaba’s vehicle stopped in the right lane of travel on State Highway 29 near Feeder Street. Subsequent to investigation, Kaba was found to have an active ATS warrant out of Trenton Municipal Court in the amount of $120. Kaba was placed under arrest and processed for the warrant. Kaba was unable to post bail, and an ROR was placed on the warrant. Kaba was later released with a pending court date.
Case #16007872:
Martin J. McDonald, 56, of New Hope, was arrested on Sept. 6, at 7:31 p.m. for DUI.
On Sept. 6, patrols responded to the parking lot of Heritage Village for a report that a vehicle had attempted to drive through a gated emergency exit, and blown out a tire. Upon arrival, Sgt. Memolo and Ptl. Cooper located McDonald and his vehicle, whose passenger side tire was completely blown out, and the rim dented.
Subsequent to investigation, McDonald was found to be under the influence of alcohol and placed under arrest. Ptl. Cooper charged McDonald with DUI, Driving with an Expired License, and Careless Driving. He was later released with a pending court date.
Case #16008316:
Peter H. Schapira, 54, of Hillside, N.J., was arrested on Sept. 17 at 3 a.m. for DUI.
While on routine patrol, Lt. Brown observed Schapira’s vehicle driving erratically in the area of North Union Street. Lt. Brown stopped Schapira in the area of North Union Street and Delaware Avenue. Subsequent to investigation, Schapira was found to be under the influence of alcohol and placed under arrest. Lt. Brown charged Schapira with DUI, Failure to Keep Right, Careless Driving, and Refusal to Submit to Breath Testing. Schapira was later released with a pending court date.

Louis C. Annenberg, 22, of New Hope, was arrested on Sept. 19 at 9:23 p.m. for an active warrant.
While on patrol, Sgt. Gramlich observed Annenberg’s vehicle in the parking lot of the Exxon Station while the business was closed, and with no employees on site. Sgt. Gramlich made contact with Annenberg ,who was found sitting inside his vehicle. Subsequent to investigation, Annenberg was found to have an active ATS warrant out of Madison Joint Municipal Court in the amount of $145. Annenberg was placed under arrest and processed for the warrant. He was able to post bail and was later released.
Case #16008426:
Anastacio Olivera-Jose, 49, of New Hope, was arrested on Sept. 20 at 3:26 a.m. for DUI.
While on patrol, Ptl. Wurpel observed Olivera-Jose’s vehicle traveling erratically in the area of North Union Street. Ptl. Wurpel stopped Olivera-Jose in the area of North Union Street and Delaware Avenue. Subsequent to investigation, Olivera-Jose was found to be under the influence of alcohol and placed under arrest. Ptl. Wurpel charged Olivera-Jose with DUI, Failure to Maintain Lane, Careless Driving, and Unlicensed Driver. Olivera-Jose was later released with a pending court date.
Case #16008579:
Amanda V. Verde, 22, of Hamilton, N.J., was arrested on Sept. 25 at 10:13 a.m. for an active warrant.
While running stationary radar on State Highway 29, Ptl. Cooper observed Verde’s vehicle traveling north near Weeden Street at a high rate of speed. Ptl. Cooper stopped Verde in the area of South Union Street. Subsequent to investigation, Verde was found to have a suspended driver’s license as well as an active ATS warrant out of Hopewell Township Municipal Court in the amount of $156. Verde was placed under arrest and processed for the warrant. She was able to post bail in full and was later released. Ptl. Cooper charged Verde with Driving While Suspended and Speeding.
