GIANT Food Stores and MARTIN’S Food Markets this week announced an exclusive partnership with award-winning actress, singer, songwriter and producer Queen Latifah on a “unique and groundbreaking” floral line.
The “Queen Collection” is a “first-of-its-kind line of floral bouquets and plants designed by Queen Latifah, reflecting her iconic style with beautiful arrangements and premium quality flowers,” according to the grocery store chain.
The new line will be available at all GIANT/MARTIN’S stores starting Oct. 7.
“I love flowers, giving them and receiving them, so when GIANT/MARTIN’S presented me with this incredible opportunity, I jumped at the chance to create my own floral line that is beautiful, and easily accessible at popular grocery stores, at affordable prices,” said Queen Latifah in a press release. “I am extremely proud of the innovative designs we’ve created and the quality flowers that I have handpicked exclusively for The Queen Collection.”
“The Queen Collection features a number of stunning arrangements, including eight floral bouquets and two orchids that have all been personally named by Queen Latifah,” said the GIANT promotional material. “Using inspiration from her widely varied professional career, Queen Latifah has named each design based on the feeling it is meant to convey and evoke.”
