PECO is scheduled to close both southbound lanes on Route 263 (York Road) between Route 413 (Durham Road) and Old York Road in Buckingham Township on Friday, Aug. 12, from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. for emergency tree removal, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.
During the one-day closure, southbound Route 263 (York Road) motorists will be directed onto one of the two northbound lanes. Northbound Route 263 motorists can expect delays in the work zone area while one of the two lanes is used for southbound traffic.
The construction schedule is “contingent on the weather,” according to PennDOT. PECO will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
