The Friends of the Delaware Canal (FODC) will host a ‘Sock Hop’ dance benefit on Saturday, Sept. 17, in the Barn at Hope Ridge Farm in New Hope.
The evening includes live music by RB Express, classic cars, dinner, drinks, and dessert.
“Come show off your best 50s dance moves and, if you like, your letter sweater or poodle skirt!” said Susan Taylor of the Friends of the Delaware Canal. “This fundraising dance, which benefits the preservation and improvement efforts of the FODC, promises to be a fantastic time for all.”
The Sept. 17 Sock Hop will be held from 6:30-10:30 p.m. in the Barn at Hope Ridge Farm in New Hope at 2050 Aquetong Road. Tickets for the Sock Hop are $90 for FODC members, and $100 for non-members, and can be purchased at the FODC website, or by calling (215) 862-2021.
Sock Hop sponsors include Johanna Foods Inc., Strategic Partners Fund Solutions, Triumph Brewing Company, Unionville Vineyards, and Melson’s Service Center.
