The Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce will host its fourth “Renew Your Wedding Vows in New Hope” event on Saturday, June 25, at 11:30 a.m.
The event takes place at Ferry Street Park alongside the Delaware River at East Ferry and South Main streets. Presiding over the marriage vow renewal ceremony will be Reverend Michael Ruk of St. Phillips Episcopal Church in New Hope.
New Hope has been recognized as one of the most romantic destinations on the East Coast, say New Hope Chamber of Commerce officials, and the event is part of a marketing effort that positions New Hope as a romantic getaway, honeymoon destination, and special town for all lovers.
“A renewal of the vows will be held for all married couples, and for all those in a committed relationship, to affirm their love for one another,” said New Hope Chamber Director Herb Millman. “When we show we are committed to each other, and then to family and community, the world is a better place.”
The ceremony is free, and will take place rain or shine.
