Ismael Garcia-Garcia was indicted Thursday for third-degree invasion of privacy after allegedly filming a nude woman without her knowledge.
The Hunterdon County grand jury charged that Garcia-Garcia used his cell phone to video and audio record a woman while she was nude in her bathroom on Nov. 12, 2015, in Lambertville.
Specifically, Garcia-Garcia purportedly violated N.J.S.A. 2C:14-9(b), i.e. “knowing that he was not licensed or privileged to do so, did photograph, film, videotape, record or otherwise reproduce in any manner, the image of another person whose intimate parts are exposed or who is engaged in an act of sexual penetration or sexual contact without that person’s consent and under circumstances in which a reasonable person would not expect to be observed.”
