Bucks County Audubon Society (BCAS) recently announced it will hold its annual family-friendly, educational “Haunted Trails” event at Honey Hollow on Oct. 16.
This year’s Haunted Trails theme is “Swamp Creatures,” and provides an opportunity for kids to learn about the creatures that live in and around the 700-acre watershed located in Solebury, and managed by Bucks County Audubon Society.
Featuring storytelling by costumed characters along jack o’ lantern-lit trails, the event will be held on one night only: Friday, Oct. 16, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. The cost is $25 for a family of four, $20 with a BCAS membership, or $5 per person. Stay after the walk for face painting, a bonfire, cider and cookies.
Bucks County Audubon Society at Honey Hollow is located at 2877 Creamery Road between Route 263 and Meetinghouse Road in Solebury.
